Terms of Use

Last updated June 7, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Peptidology, the operator of this website (“Peptidology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the website located at https://peptidology.io, together with all related subdomains, content, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Disclosure, and Cookie Policy, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

PLEASE READ SECTION 14 (DISPUTE RESOLUTION; BINDING ARBITRATION; CLASS ACTION WAIVER) CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO BRING A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL.

1. Eligibility and capacity

The Service is intended solely for adults. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher), that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you and that organization.

2. Definitions

  • Content” means any text, data, images, links, references, scores, or other materials available on the Service.
  • User Content” means any Content that you or other users submit, post, or transmit, including questions, answers, comments, votes, and profile information.
  • Research Material(s)” means any compound, peptide, or substance referenced on the Service that is intended exclusively for laboratory research.

3. Research Use Only; no medical advice

All content on Peptidology is provided for research and educational purposes only. Materials discussed are Research Use Only (RUO) and are not for human or animal consumption. Nothing here is medical advice or instruction for human use.

The Service is an educational and community platform. It does not provide medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, legal, or other professional advice, and no physician–patient, practitioner–client, or other professional relationship is created by your use of the Service. Nothing on the Service should be construed as encouraging, instructing, or facilitating the purchase, sale, import, export, possession, compounding, reconstitution for use, or administration of any substance for human or animal use. You are solely responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to you, including laws governing controlled substances, medicines, research materials, import/export, and consumer protection.

4. No regulated transactions

The Service does not sell, broker, or facilitate the sale of any Research Material and is not a marketplace. Vendor information and scores are editorial assessments of publicly available documentation and do not constitute an offer, solicitation, endorsement, or guarantee. Any transaction you enter into with a third-party vendor is solely between you and that vendor.

5. Accounts and security

Certain features require an account, created via third-party authentication (e.g., Google) or a one-time email link. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

  • Sell, advertise, solicit, or arrange off-platform transactions or contact; post discount codes, referral/affiliate links, or vendor checkout links; or otherwise use the Service for commercial solicitation.
  • Post dosing, administration, self-experimentation, or any human- or animal-use instructions or claims, or any content that asserts a substance diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or mitigates a disease.
  • Post unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, obscene, or fraudulent content, or content that violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation, or use another user’s account.
  • Transmit spam, malware, or automated queries; scrape, harvest, or index the Service except as permitted by our robots directives; or circumvent rate limits, moderation, or access controls.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable export controls, sanctions, or other laws.

7. User Content and license

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Peptidology a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., for formatting and moderation), publish, publicly display, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law or third-party right. You are solely responsible for your User Content, which is public when published alongside your display name.

8. Moderation; suspension; termination

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, review, edit, remove, refuse, lock, or restrict any User Content or account at any time, with or without notice, including to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the Service or its users. We may mute or ban users and maintain a moderation log. You may terminate your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 6–14) will survive.

9. Intellectual property

The Service and its Content (excluding User Content), including text, graphics, logos, the Peptidology name and marks, and the compilation and arrangement of Content, are owned by or licensed to Peptidology and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Third-party content, links, and vendors

The Service references third-party studies, websites, and vendors and may contain affiliate links marked with rel="sponsored". We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices, and we do not warrant their accuracy, legality, or availability. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and the third party. See our Disclosure.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that Content is accurate, complete, or current. Vendor scores are opinions based on available documentation and are not guarantees about any product. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some exclusions may not apply to you. See our full Disclaimer.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Peptidology, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, AGENTS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Peptidology and its officers, directors, employees, contributors, agents, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

14. Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class waiver

Informal resolution. Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@peptidology.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Arbitration. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language.

Class action waiver. You and Peptidology agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Jurisdiction-specific rights. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory laws prohibit pre-dispute arbitration or class waivers, those provisions do not apply to you to the extent prohibited, and you retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in your local courts and to benefit from your home jurisdiction’s consumer protections. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and, to the extent litigation is permitted, the exclusive venue will be the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, United States. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

16. International use; export controls and sanctions

We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all locations. You access the Service on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. You represent that you are not located in, and are not a national of or ordinarily resident in, any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not on any restricted-party or denied-persons list. You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

18. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

19. General

These Terms, together with the documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Peptidologyregarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, or joint venture. Headings are for convenience only.
